Bristol Zoological Society will be holding a public exhibition on Wednesday 19 July, so residents can learn more about proposals for the development of our Wild Place Project site, which will be called Bristol Zoo Project from mid-July.

These exciting plans would see significant investment in our site to ensure we can continue to deliver excellent animal welfare, grow our vital conservation work and create exhibits that better reflect animals’ habitats.

To share details of our plans we are planning a public exhibition on Wednesday 19 July from 5pm-8pm at Hollywood Mansion House, Hollywood Lane, Bristol, BS10 7TW.  Visitors will be able to view the most up-to-date masterplan for the site, ahead of the submission of planning applications this year. There will also be a chance to discuss our proposals with the project team, including a number of expert consultants who are working with us.

Hollywood Mansion House offers street level access from the main car park. If you have any accessibility concerns regarding the venue, or for more information about the event, please email
